Cost: $1,250.00 (C class to HR), $1,100.00 (LR to HR) or $925.00 (MR to HR)

This unit is Nationally Recognised and criteria cover all aspects of your HR Licence.  Our truck is a real HR class vehicle loaded with 9 tonnes.  It is not a modified prime mover.  Please contact us before undertaking MVR's learner permit test.   NATA offer a comprehensive training and assessment service which includes a theory test.

The course consists of one unit of competency which may be conducted in one session or over a number of sessions as required by the individual student:

  • Two hour Intake for delivery of the theory component
  • Theory test is attempted before Intake, the test is marked and any corrections will be discussed at Intake
  • Practical Training, where your knowledge of theory and practical skills are tested, is delivered in a 2014 Isuzu FVZ Long with a 9 tonne load and a 9-speed gearbox
  • Practical training is delivered in one session, or as booked, up to 6 hours (c-HR), 5 hours (LR-HR or 4 hours (MR-HR) are included in your program.
  • Assessment is a 45 minute driving session along a standard route which tests the essential elements of Heavy Vehicle on-road management
  • Licence outcome is an NT Open endorsed HR Heavy Vehicle Driver Licence

You will be issued a Statement of Attainment on successful completion of your course, this statement is valid for 12 months from date of issue for use to upgrade your licence at any branch of NT MVR.  You may choose to pick your statement up after course completion or NATA will send your statement by registered post for next day pick up at your local post office.

Cost: $1,025.00 (c class to MR) or $850.00 (LR to MR)

Course Code: TLIC2002

Cost: $500.00 using our vehicle

This unit is Nationally Recognised and criteria cover all aspects of your LR Licence.  You have the option to use our brand new Isuzu 55-155 AMT loaded with 2.4 tonne or supply a suitable class vehicle, if it's a truck it will need a load of 2.4 tonne, for a bus no load is required.  Cost for training and assessment is $500.00 using our vehicle, or $360.00 using yours.  Please contact us to discuss.

The course consists of one unit of competency which may be conducted in one session or over a number of sessions as required by the individual student:

  • Intake, which covers the theory component and may be conducted at NATA, or course materials may be delivered to you for completion in your own time.
  • Theory test is attempted before Intake, the test is marked and any corrections are discussed at Intake.
  • Practical Training, where your knowledge of theory and practical skills are tested
  • Practical training is delivered in one session
  • Assessment is a 45 minute driving session along a route which tests the essential elements of vehicle on-road management
  • Licence outcome is an NT LR Driver Licence

You will be issued a Statement of Attainment on successful completion of your course, this statement is valid for 12 months from date of issue for use to upgrade your licence at any branch of NT MVR.  You may choose to pick your statement up after course completion or NATA will send your statement by registered post for pick up at your local post office.

Cost: $1,400.00 (HR to HC auto), $1,850.00 (HR to HC 18sp) $1,700.00 (MR to HC auto) $2,150.00 (MR to HR 18sp)

This unit is Nationally Recognised and criteria cover all aspects of your HC Licence.  Our trucks are 2010 DAF CF85 3 axle prime mover, with a fully automated gearbox, and 2013 Mack Granite 3 axle prime mover, with an 18 speed roadranger gearbox.  The load is a 40ft container weighing 32 tonnes.

The course consists of one unit of competency which may be conducted over a number of sessions as required by the individual student:

  • Two hour intake for delivery of the theory component
  • Theory test is attempted before Intake, the test is marked and any corrections are discussed at Intake.
  • Practical Training, where your knowledge of theory and practical skills are tested
  • Practical training is delivered over two to three days, as booked.
  • Assessment is a 1 and a half hour session, including a minimum 45min on-road component along a standard route, which tests the essential elements of Heavy Vehicle on-road management
  • Licence outcome is an NT HC Heavy Vehicle Driver Licence, any endorsement is based on your HR licence

HR to HC standard two day licence upgrade course costs $1,400.00 where our DAF is used, or $1,850.00 using the Mack for a three day course.  Where you are upgrading your current licence from MR, an additional practical day will be added into your program.  The cost will be an extra $450.00, bringing the total cost to $2,150.00.

You will be issued an MVR Test Sheet and a Statement of Attainment on successful completion of your course, these are valid for 12 months from date of issue for use to upgrade your licence at any branch of NT MVR.

Cost: $1,250.00 (HC to MC auto), $1,750.00 HC to MC 18sp), $1,750.00 (HR upgrade auto),$2,200.00 (HR to MC 18sp)

This unit is Nationally Recognised and criteria cover all aspects of your MC Licence.  Our trucks are 2010 DAF CF85 3 axle prime mover, with a fully automated gearbox, and a 2013 Mack Granite 3 axle prime mover, with an 18 speed roadranger gearbox.  The load is B-Double set, being a 20ft and a 40ft container to 50 tonnes.

  • Licence outcome is an NT MC Heavy Vehicle Driver Licence, any endorsement is based on your HR or HC licence

HC to MC is a standard one to two day licence upgrade course costing $1,250.00 (auto) or $1,750.00 (18sp).  Where you are upgrading your current licence from HR, an additional day is added into your program.  The cost will be an extra $450.00, bringing the total cost to $1,750.00 (auto) or $2,200.00 (18sp).

You will be issued an MVR Test Sheet and Statement of Attainment on successful completion of your course, these are valid for 12 months from date of issue for use to upgrade your licence at any branch of NT MVR.
